Instructions for Authors

The paper should contain original results of research that are related to the theory, design, implementation, application, exploitation, maintenance or evaluation aspects of the Symposium main topics. Only the papers that have not been published or presented in any way will be accepted for this Symposium.

Manuscript Preparation

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers (6 pages max).

The authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the IEEE Conference Template. Manuscripts are to be written in English language. Only PDF format A4 is allowed for submission of the manuscript.

The manuscripts should be submitted through the on-line submission system which will be available on this web site after March 01. 2016.

Camera-ready Papers

For all accepted papers, the registration fee must be paid before the submission of camera ready paper. Each paper must have at least one author associated with it who has paid the regular or student registration fee.

IEEE FORMATTING GUIDELINES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Do not add any page numbering, header or footer other than the copyright info discussed in the following. Add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document before creating a PDF. The following copyright notice has to be added:

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-5090-2329-5/16/$31.00 ©2016 Crown
• For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-5090-2329-5/16/$31.00 ©2016 European Union
• For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-5090-2329-5/16/$31.00 ©2016 IEEE

The addition of the copyright notice to your paper can be done as follows:

• MSWord users can use: Insert -> Text box, insert the appropriate copyright notice in the textbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page;
• Latex users can add the following lines just before starting the document part (example for others):

Final versions of accepted papers must be prepared using IEEE PDF eXpress requirements:

• Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress website
• If you never used IEEE PDF eXpress, then click on the link New Users - Click Here and fill in your information.
• If you have used IEEE PDF eXpress before, then enter your email address and password.
• The Conference ID is: 37075X
• Continue to enter information as prompted.

Only if the check for compliance with PDF eXpress was successful, you can submit your final paper. The final paper to be submitted to the EasyChair submission system must be accompanied by a proof of full compliance generated by the PDF eXpress facility. Please forward the email generated by the PDF eXpress facility for the final submission to indel@etfbl.net. Papers without the compliance proof will not be included in the IEEE Xplore data base.

SUBMISSION OF THE FINAL PAPER IN THE EASYCHAIR SUBMISSION SYSTEM

For final submission, log into the EasyChair submission system and access your already existing paper ID. Please do not submit a new paper with a new paper ID, but just update the previously submitted paper by the final version using the Update file link.

IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM

For each paper, one author has to complete the IEEE Copyright form. Please follow the following instructions.

1. Download a copy of the IEEE Copyright form:
   • Copyrigth Form (PDF)
   • Copyrigth Form (DOC)
2. Read through the downloaded copyright form, filling out any required fields.
3. For "IEEE Publication Title" in the form use: 2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)
4. Sign the completed copyright form.
5. Create a PDF copy of the signed copyright form.
6. Name the PDF of the copyright form "copyright-XX.pdf", where "XX" is the number identifying your paper (assigned by the EasyChair submission system).
7. Using the subject line "Copyright for paper XX", where "XX" is again the ID number of your paper, send the PDF to the following e-mail address: indel2016.copyright@gmail.com
